Dear Friends,

Just a quick note to remind everyone about our first after-holiday wine tasting party this Saturday, January 20th at 7pm. Please bring a bottle to share of your best wine. I'll be providing pizza and wings, but invite everyone to bring a dish to pass, if convenient. Be sure to bring a few extra bottles of your best wine for our wine exchange if you want to try something new. No need to dress up. Just come as you are!

Also, for those of you who are interested, there are a couple other wine tasting events coming up in the area:

• The Syracuse Chapter of the American Wine Society is having a Michigan wine tasting event on Tuesday, January 23rd from 7-9pm at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society. $16 per person, RSVP to Jim Beckman (637-0828, james.beckman@crucible.com) by Sunday, January 21st.
• Red Barn Winery is having a mid-January social on Sunday, January 21st from 2-5pm. No cover charge. $3 per glass of wine. RSVP to Paul (redbarnwinery@aol.com) if you will be attending.
